Could somebody explain to me the "rep" system. I looked around and I can't seem to find an answer.

It is a way that members can show they approve (or disapprove) of various contributions other users make to the site. It applies to comments, forum posts, user profiles and torrent uploads. Kind of like a karma system - for example if you agree with someone in a forum post you can give them a rep point.

The system is actually weighted as well so that the more someone has contributed to the site, the greater an influence they can have on someone else's reputation points.
